MY APPROACH
My approach focuses on 3 dimensions: Firstly working with changing the way you relate within yourself. Secondly exploring your relationships and looking at how to improve the way you relate to others. Thirdly exploring how past events and previous life challenges may be affecting how you cope with life today.
MY EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
I have many years experience working with people from all walks of life. I have a Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling from Spurgeon's College and am a registered member of the Association for Christian Counsellors (ACC) and the British Association for Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP).
I have a heart for people and through counselling I look to support emotional and mental well-being and provide opportunity for people to flourish and live life to the full. My desire is to release, empower and nurture Christ centred hope, healing and wholeness that facilitates growth and transformation in every area of people's lives.
MY ETHICAL CODE
As a registered member of the Association for Christian Counsellors (ACC) and the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) I adhere to their code of ethics. Both are available on request. I receive regular supervision and attend continuing professional development and training events to keep up with the latest research and developments in counselling.
